After a long wait, members of the Barangay Health Workers (BHW) have finally received their cash incentives ranging from Php 70,000 to Php 80,000, provided by the national government as recognition for their invaluable service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In Miagao, the funds were distributed in cash on December 30th, coinciding with Rizal Day.
In his message, Mayor Richard Garin described the BHWs as true heroes, emphasizing their critical role as frontliners throughout the health crisis.
βYour dedication and commitment have been instrumental in managing the pandemic at the community level and we are truly grateful for all of you,β Mayor Garin said.
