On November 11, 2025, the Department of Health Region VI recently inspected the ongoing construction of the proposed Dialysis Center in Barangay Guibongan. Once finished, the DOH will supply the necessary dialysis machines and related medical equipment to ensure the facility becomes fully operational.
According to Engineer Rey Mosura, the project carried out by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is approximately 85 percent complete, with remaining tasks including tile installation and painting.
This initiative was made possible through funding from the Office of Congresswoman Janette Garin, following a request by Mayor Richard Garin to provide accessible dialysis services for the Miagao community.
