Mayor Richard Garin expressed his gratitude to the Miagao-based vloggers for showcasing the best of Miagao and sharing it with the world through their various social media platforms.
On January 28, 2026, Mayor Garin took time to meet with the vloggers and gave them a tour of the newly built Municipal Building, which he called โa symbol of pride for the Miagaowanons.โ
โThank you for promoting our town. Regardless of political differences or beliefs, you are showing the world what Miagao is all about and the best it has to offer,โ Mayor Garin said.
The new municipal building is currently being refined and prepared for its inauguration and blessing, set for February 2, 2026.
He also acknowledged the important role of Congresswoman Janette Garin in making the construction possible for the people of Miagao. He mentioned that 75 percent of the building was funded through Congresswoman Garin and highlighted that it was furnished without the need for loans.
