From December 8 to 10, 2025, residents of Miagaowanβincluding those from coastal, poblacion, and upland barangaysβactively took part in the Hands-On Training on Recycling 2.0. This program was organized by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office.
This training served as an enhanced version of the Recycling Training held in 2024. This yearβs sessions expanded to include comprehensive lectures and discussions on environmental issues, alongside practical workshops. Participants engaged in creating eco-bags and slippers, crafting decorative vases, producing charcoal briquettes, and performing bottle crushing and composting techniques. The initiative aims to deepen community knowledge and promote sustainable waste management practices throughout the municipality.
