Lorie Gabrielle D. Bentula and Cris Liam N. Tingson of Miagao Central Elementary School, representing Iloilo Province, earned the silver medal in the Latin American Dancesports category at the 2026 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet. The event took place at the Passi City Arena on March 19, 2026.

In addition to their impressive silver finish, the duo achieved the following results:

– Gold in Jive

– Silver in Samba, Rumba, and Paso Doble

– Silver in Latin American

The entire municipality celebrates this remarkable accomplishment.
