The Municipality of Miagao, along with other municipalities, will implement the Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) from January 2 to 20, 2025.
The Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) is a centralized government program, sometimes temporary (such as during permit renewal periods) or ongoing, that combines various agencies and services into one location or platform. This makes it easier to start, operate, and renew businesses by reducing red tape and processing time through the consolidation of permits, licenses, and clearances. It simplifies bureaucratic processes by bringing offices like BPLO, Health, Bureau of Fire Protection, and DTI together and digitizing transactions, allowing entrepreneurs to complete several steps in one place, often within a single day.
In her message, OIC Municipal Treasurer Cyrene Buenafe stated that the program is part of the initiative to make doing business easier for the people of Miagao.
She also encouraged everyone to take advantage of the program and secure their permits through this initiative.
