The Municipal Population Office of Miagao has been honored as the 2025 Outstanding Population Office in the Localization of the Philippine Population and Development Plan of Action (PPD-POA) 2023-2028 for Western Visayas. The award was presented during a ceremony held on March 13, 2026, in Iloilo City.
