On March 30, 2026, Mayor Richard Garin, along with the DPWH personnel, personally conducted an inspection of the newly constructed road providing access to the Regional Evacuation Center and the Miagao National High School (MNHS) New Site. The inspection focused on the section adjacent to the new MDRRM Building in Barangay Igtuba.
During his visit, Mayor Garin emphasized that this road will significantly improve connectivity, facilitating easier and safer travel between Barangay Kirayan Tacas and the MNHS New Site as well as the Regional Evacuation Center.
