The Municipal Health Office, under Officer-in-Charge Dr. Mary Joyce Bermejo, led the blessing of the new ambulance which will strengthen the municipality’s existing fleet of four units. This addition is expected to significantly improve the speed and efficiency of emergency medical responses provided by the First Aid Clinic and the main Rural Health Unit.
In a related announcement, Mayor Richard Garin confirmed that the operations of the FAC and RHU will be under a new structure with Dr. Bermejo managing the FAC and Dr. Rhea Palacios overseeing the RHU.
According to Mayor Garin, these efforts will reinforce the municipality’s healthcare infrastructure, ensuring wider access to quality medical care for all residents.
