On January 19, 2026, the local government, through their Municipal Tourism Officer, Mrs. Mary Diane Flordeliza, proudly announced the crowning of the new Miagao Queen 2026. This highly anticipated event highlighted the selection of Ms. Nave, who was chosen to represent the vibrant culture and proud heritage of Miagao for the coming year.
Miss Bernadette Libo-on Nave will be officially crowned as the new queen on February 6, 2026 and is set to reign for one full year, serving as the townβs ambassador at various cultural, social, and tourism-related events. She will be succeeding the esteemed Ms. Bermejo, who held the title with grace and dedication throughout his reign. Her consort is Carl Edward Tan Monteclaro.
Meanwhile, the lady-in-waiting, Ms Faisaliyah Hallares, is expected to succeed Ms. Nave in 2027, carrying on the tradition of showcasing the beauty and spirit of Miagao in the years ahead. This passing of the torch symbolizes continuity and the ongoing celebration of the communityβs rich identity.
