A total of P1.009 million worth of farm machinery and equipment was recently distributed to several local associations. On February 1, 2026, Mayor Richard Garin personally led the handover to key organizations, including the NACTI Vegetable Noodles and Chips Processors Association, the Rural Improvement Club, the Ongyod Coffee Producers Association, and the Miagao Farmer Agricultural Cooperative.
The recipients received a range of tools designed to enhance productivity: one electric pasta maker, 35 manual pasta makers, two stainless steel work tables, and additional accessories.
In his address during the event, Mayor Garin expressed optimism that this support would foster growth within these groups and ultimately increase the income and livelihood of their members.
