Officials from various Parents-Teachers Associations (PTAs) in elementary and high schools across Miagao have been engaged as key partners in the implementation of the Responsableng Ginikanan Academy (RGA) Program.
On May 7, 2026, these PTA representatives attended an orientation session introducing the program, which is a flagship initiative spearheaded by Mayor Richard Garin. The RGA is thoughtfully designed to strengthen family values and empower parents to take on their roles as responsible and nurturing caregivers more effectively.
Supported by the Department of Education, members of the Responsableng Ginikanan Academy will lead training sessions in close collaboration with the PTAs. This joint effort is scheduled to coincide with the Brigada Eskwela 2026 campaign, enhancing community involvement and ensuring a holistic approach to both education and family development.
Through this partnership, the program aims to build stronger family foundations that complement the educational progress of the students.
