A total of 72 families in Miagao were provided with assistance amounting to P421,260.00 to help address the damages caused by Typhoon Tino. This financial support aims to alleviate the hardships faced by those affected by the recent storm.
Among the recipients, seven families whose properties were completely destroyed received P10,325 each to aid in their recovery and rebuilding efforts. Meanwhile, 65 families with partially damaged properties were granted P5,369 each to assist with repairs and replace essential belongings.
This assistance is part of the ongoing efforts by the Department of Social Welfare and Development to support individuals and communities in crisis, ensuring they receive timely aid to recover from natural disasters like Typhoon Tino.
Mayor Richard Garin, in his remarks thanked the DSWD for being committed to providing relief and helping families rebuild their lives after such devastating events.
