Some 180 Miagaowanons are set to receive a payment of P5,500 each as compensation for their services rendered over a period of 10 days under the DOLE TUPAD Program. This initiative provides much-needed financial support to vulnerable workers who have undertaken temporary employment through the Department of Labor and Employment’s emergency employment program.
The fund release, which took place on March 31, 2026, aims to help ease the financial burdens faced by these beneficiaries, many of whom rely on this income to support their families and cover essential expenses. By providing timely assistance, the program not only promotes short-term employment but also contributes to the overall well-being and resilience of local communities in Miagao.
