A total of 629 residents of Miagao will exit the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) during the second semester of 2026. The exit process took place on April 14, 2026, during an event titled “Pugay Tagumpay: Convergence Caravan of Services for Exiting 4Ps Households.” This initiative aims to assist beneficiaries in transitioning toward self-reliance and family stability beyond the program.
The event gathered support from multiple government agencies, including the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Education (DepEd), Office of the Municipal Agriculturist, and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), among others.
Of the 629 households completing the program, 579 will participate in an aftercare package focusing on livelihood opportunities, startup capital, skills training, employment facilitation, and financial empowerment. Meanwhile, 60 beneficiaries will receive continued assistance concerning health services, general protection, and other essential social welfare support.
