The local government has taken a significant step toward securing the future of Miagaoβs youth through education. Under the Responsableng Gobyerno Scholarship, Educational Assistance, and Loan (RG SEAL) Program, 641 qualified Miagaowanons were officially recognized as scholars. Their educational allowances were distributed during a formal ceremony held at the JRBB Hall.
Scholarship recipients under the Economic Category and Senior High School level each received PHP 3,000, while those in the Academic Category were granted PHP 5,000.
The RG SEAL Program is an enhanced version of the earlier Miagao Assistance to College Graduates initiative. It offers a range of benefits to grantees, including financial incentives for academic achievements, educational loans, and additional support to help students succeed in their educational pursuits.
