A total P704,000 in indemnity assistance has been distributed by the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation to 216 farmers and fisherfolk beneficiaries.

These individuals reported losses resulting from typhoons, droughts, and outbreaks of animal and crop diseases.

The financial support aims to help affected agricultural workers recover from these natural and environmental adversities.
