The members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) in Miagao were given important support as part of their preparations for the upcoming Scout Jamboree in Barangay Aldeguer, Sara, Iloilo. This assistance acts as a send-off gift to help ensure that the scouts have everything they need for a successful and enjoyable event.
During an official turnover ceremony held on October 28th, the scouts received cash assistance intended to cover their food and travel expenses. In addition to the monetary support, eight sacks of riceβeach weighing 25 kilogramsβwere provided to the scouters from Miagao East and Miagao West (100kg per district), further helping them sustain their needs throughout the Jamboree.
The assistance was formally accepted by Mr. Nole Fredecilla, representing Miagao East, and Mr. Arlem Aranza, representing Miagao West. Their receipt of these resources symbolizes a communityβs dedication to supporting the youth and fostering the values of scouting as the members prepare to participate in this highly anticipated regional gathering.
