On October 23, 2025, the local government, through its Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, successfully conducted a synchronized earthquake drill across various locations. This important exercise took place simultaneously in the offices of the LGU, barangays, and schools throughout the municipality.
The drill aimed to enhance preparedness and ensure that all personnel and community members are well-equipped to respond quickly and effectively in the event of a real earthquake.
By involving multiple sectors, the LGU demonstrated its commitment to fostering a culture of safety and resilience within the community.
