Mayor Garin Receives Donation of Farm Inputs for Onion Growers

On October 23, 2025, Mayor Richard Garin formally accepted a generous donation of agricultural supplies from Allies Botanical Corporation and Syngenta Philippines Corporation. The contribution, comprising onion seeds and BIO fertilizer, will be distributed to the Asosyon sang mga Manugsibuyas sa Miagao, a local association of onion farmers.

In his remarks, Mayor Garin underscored the significance of these inputs in revitalizing the local farming sector. He pointed out that the donated materials are expected to enhance crop productivity, providing vital support to farmers and, in turn, strengthening the community’s economy and food security. Furthermore, the mayor reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to sustaining agricultural development by collaborating closely with partners such as Allies Botanical Corporation to advance sustainable farming practices throughout the municipality.
