SILANG, CAVITE – On August 21, 2025, Mayor Richard Garin extended his sincere appreciation to the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) for their warm reception of the local government unit (LGU) delegation during a courtesy visit.
“Your hospitality and presence made this event both successful and memorable for us officials from Miagao,” Mayor Garin noted, praising the careful planning and heartfelt effort invested in organizing the visit.
He highlighted that the cordial welcome reflected a strong partnership between the PNPA and the Miagao LGU. Mayor Garin expressed hope that this connection would serve as a channel for more citizens from Miagao to pursue opportunities at the Academy.
The delegation, led by Mayor Garin and accompanied by department heads and second-in-rank officers, was received at Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda in Silang, Cavite. Under the guidance of PNPA Director PBGEN Andre Perez Dizon, the visit fostered meaningful dialogue and strengthened collaboration between local government officials and Academy personnel.
Key PNPA representatives were also present and warmly hosted the group, underscoring the visit’s role in enhancing mutual understanding and reinforcing ties between the Academy and the Miagao community.
