Members of the Philippine National Red Cross paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Richard Garin on March 23, 2026.

During the visit, led by Ms. Shaira Lois Dela Cruz, the PNRC responded to Mayor Garin’s request by pledging support to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office. Their commitment focuses on assisting with the establishment and training of School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils across all national high schools in the municipality. This initiative aims to enhance preparedness for potential emergencies that may occur within or around school premises.
