The MENR Office, through its staff, carried out a series of Operation Baklas to remove all unapproved tarpaulins displayed in unauthorized spots around town.
These tarpaulins, posted on lamp posts, trees, and other locations, were placed without permission and have become unsightly, affecting the townโs cleanliness and order.
Please note that all tarpaulin postings must be properly approved by the Municipal Information Officer, who serves as the Transparency focal person, with permits issued by the Municipal Treasurerโs Office.
