The local government of Miagao is actively supporting the implementation of the eGovPH and eLGU System initiated by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). This initiative aims to enhance the delivery of public services through digital transformation.
On March 27, 2025, the DICT hosted a conference centered on aligning eGov systems with the requirements for effective implementation of the eGovPH and eLGU. The conference focused on strategies for improving local government service delivery through information and communication technology (ICT). Key discussions included insights from the Digital Maturity, IT Governance, and ICT Capacity Evaluations conducted previously. Participants also identified collaborative actions and interventions that the DICT can provide to support municipalities in their digital initiatives.
The eGovPH, or e-Government Philippines, is a mobile application designed to streamline transactions between citizens and the government, making public services more accessible and efficient.
