The Municipality of Miagao welcomed members of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanaoβs Ministry of Trade and Tourism, led by Minister Abuamri A. Taddik, during their learning exchange and knowledge-sharing visit on June 2, 2025.
The group toured several sites including the Indag-an Multipurpose Cooperative, the Baraclayan weaving centers, the sea salt production area in Barangay Mambatad, and the spinning facility at ISAT U Miagao Campus, among others.
In his remarks, Mayor Richard Garin extended a warm welcome to the guests. He noted that the visit offers a valuable chance for both Miagao and BARMM to learn from each other, as both communities strive to promote their local industries, especially weaving, within their own regions.
