The Local Nutrition Council (LNC) of Miagao, led by Mayor Richard Garin, impressed the evaluation team during the final assessment stage of the 2025 MELLPI Pro in Iloilo Province.
On June 18, 2025, Miagao’s LNC showcased its well-coordinated efforts and commitment to maintaining outstanding nutrition governance, leaving the Provincial Nutrition Evaluation Team highly impressed.
This year, Miagao is striving for top recognition.
Meanwhile, the technical execution of Miagao’s nutrition programs is being led the dedicated and capable Municipal Nutrition Action Officer (MNAO), Dr. Rhea Palacios, who, together with her skilled team from the Rural Health Unit (RHU), presented Miagao’s strategies, achievements, and innovative approaches to delivering nutrition services.
