IN PHOTOS: Around 62 Miagaowanon farmers were given indemnity checks totaling β±260, 634.32 by the Philippine Crop Insurance Corp. (PCIC) during a distribution event at the DA-CARP Training Center on January 21, 2026.
These rice farmers informed PCIC that their crops had been damaged by drought, while the livestock owners reported losses due to bloat, abortion, snake bites, and tetanus in their animals.
