Nine residents of Barangay Igtuba and Barangay Ubos Ilawod received Emergency Shelter Assistance totaling ₱205,000 on May 25, 2026. Each beneficiary was provided with ₱5,000 to ₱25,000, to support their immediate housing needs.
These individuals are required to vacate their properties located along the Tumagboc River (dried up area of the river). This relocation is necessary to allow the Department of Public Works and Highways, in coordination with the local government unit, to proceed with development projects on land designated as government-owned.
