On March 13, 2025, Mayor Richard Garin personally inspected the proposed location for the new dialysis center in Barangay Guibongan, Miagao. This facility is designed to provide essential support and alleviate the financial burden faced by community members undergoing dialysis.
Once operational, the center will also enhance the existing services offered by the Rural Health Unit, creating a more comprehensive healthcare approach for residents.
In his address, Mayor Garin shared that establishing this center has long been a dream of his for the people of Miagao and the first district. He expressed deep empathy for the patients and their families, emphasizing the center’s importance to the community’s health and well-being.
