On September 18-19, 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in collaboration with the Municipal Civil Registrar of Miagao, launched a two-day Serbisyo Caravan that delivered vital government services straight to the heart of the community. This initiative aimed to simplify access not just for Miagaowanons but to the residents of the neighboring towns, by removing the need to travel outside their towns.
Thousands of residents took advantage of the event, requesting a variety of services under the PSA and Civil Registrarβs jurisdiction. From securing birth and marriage certificates to obtaining other civil registry documents and statistical information.
Beyond facilitating service delivery, the event reaffirmed these agenciesβ commitment to public welfare and reinforced the partnership between local government and residents. It highlighted a proactive approach to bringing government resources closer to the people, fostering trust and convenience within the First District community.
