To facilitate the upcoming road widening project in Barangay Kirayan Norte, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), in coordination with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), conducted a comprehensive tree inventory. This assessment identified trees located within the affected zones slated for clearance.
A total of 38 trees on both sides of the road were found to be impacted by the expansion efforts. The inventory will guide responsible tree management and ensure compliance with environmental regulations throughout the project implementation.
