The shoreline protection efforts in Barangays Baybay Norte and Sur, Kirayan Sur, and Guibongan have successfully protected hundreds of residents from flooding and property damage, especially during the recent Typhoon Depression Opong. These projects act as crucial barriers against natural disasters, strengthening the communityβs ability to withstand such events.
