On November 27, 2025, around 180 recipients of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Emergency Employment Program participated in an orientation held at the Regional Evacuation Center.
These beneficiaries will engage in ten days of work, receiving a daily wage of P550 in recognition of their contributions to the community.
EEP is a DOLE initiative that provides emergency job opportunities for disadvantaged and displaced workers. This community-focused program offers short-term employment, usually through a “cash-for-work” arrangement, enabling participants to earn income and support themselves.
