In a continued effort to address food insecurity among vulnerable populations, the Walang Gutom program distributed its fourth batch of food packs on August 8, 2025. A total of 133 regular members received their food packs, each valued at P3,000.00. This consistent support aims to provide immediate relief and ensure that beneficiaries have access to essential nutrition during challenging times.
The recipients were carefully identified by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) central office. Selection was based on a thorough assessment conducted through the National Household Targeting System (NHTS), which helps prioritize those most in need within the community.
