‘BANTAY KALUSUGAN’

Serving the Miagaowanons, the Bantay Kalusugan Health Caravan, led by Congresswoman Doc Nanay Janette L. Garin, is at the Regional Evacuation Center in Miagao on April 21-23, 2024.
The program offers free medical consultations, laboratory tests, and medications to all who wish to avail themselves of any of the services.

IGPANDAN – CAWAYANAN CIS SOON

The produce of Igpandan-Cawayanan farmers is expected to increase soon with the construction of a Community Irrigation System in their area.
This comes after the Responsableng Gobyerno of Mayor Richard Garin, represented by OIC Mayor SB Cezar Florece, along with affected residents and Stronglane Builders and Trade Inc., conducted the pre-construction conference for the project.
During the pre-construction conference, project expectations were defined, roles were clarified, risks were identified and mitigated, and schedules and budgets were reviewed.

RESPONSABLENG GOBYERNO IN ACTION

The Responsableng Gobyerno Team, headed by Mayor Richard Garin, is once again visiting the barangays to deliver government assistance for barangay projects.
In his message, he said that this initiative is part of their continuous service to the people as a way of ‘PAGPASALAMAT SA PAGPALANGGA, PAGSARIG, KAG SUPORTA’ from the people to the administration.
Visit to Barangay San Rafael when they delivered the assistance for the construction/rehabilitation of a multipurpose building.

Some 43 Miagaowanon farmers received the indemnity check from the Philippine Crop Insurance Corp. (PCIC) amounting to a total of P207,838.00 in a distribution held at the DA-CARP Training Center on April 18, 2024.
These rice farmers reported to the PCIC that they were affected by drought, while the livestock owners reported that their animals were affected by bloat, abortion, snake bite, and tetanus.

MAYOR RSG LAUDS AND SUPPORTS BHWS

Through his presence, Mayor Richard Garin showed his support to the Barangay Health Workers (BHW) of Miagao who attended the one-day BHW District Congress hosted by the Municipality of San Joaquin on April 17, 2024.
In his message, Mayor Garin lauded them for their passion to provide quality health service in the barangay.
“Nagapasalamat guid kami sa inyo serbisyo sa mga pumuluyo. Personal ninyo nga kagustuhan ang mag-share kag inyo serbisyo kag kaaram tungod passion ninyo mangin BHW kag nalipay kamo sa obra ninyo,” he said.
The Congress, an annual event for BHWs, allows them to strengthen their bond while they receive updates on the latest health concerns and issuances that are beneficial in their official functions in the barangays.
BHWs provide healthcare services to meet the health needs of their constituents in their barangay.
