‘REGULAR EXECUTIVE MEETING’

In order to ensure that his instructions are being implemented by all concerned department heads, Mayor Richard Garin conducts regular weekly meetings with all department heads.

In the meeting, Mayor Garin reported the results of their official travel to Pampanga as a jumpstart to finalize the plan for the interior design of the four-story municipal building.
According to him, the building is expected to be completed in mid-2025.

Coordination Meeting for the Turnover Ceremony of the Updated World Heritage Marker and NCCA’s Technical Assistance on Stone Conservation of Miagao Church.

Mayor Engr. Oscar ‘Richard’ S. Garin, Jr., together with Rev. Fr. Cirilo C. Camus, Parish Priest, representatives from the Miagao Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs. Pureza M. Guzman, and Mr. Bernardo Montealto, Jr., SB Member, Hon. Cezar N. Florece, LIGA President, Hon. Marlou R. Niones, Mrs. Mary Diane N. Flordeliza, Mun. Tourism Officer discussed preparations for the Turnover Ceremony of the updated World Heritage Marker of Miagao Church on April 29, 2024.
Installation and unveiling of World Heritage Markers is a tripartite project between UNACOM, NCCA, and NHCP, in which the Local Government Unit of Miagao and the Miagao Parish are very involved.
A seminar-workshop on Stone Conservation and Cleanliness of Miagao Church was also discussed, which will be conducted by LGU-Miagao and NCCA.

Ushering in tourism’s best qualities and values, LGU Miagao’s Tourism Office, under the administration of Municipal Mayor Hon. Engr. Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr., supervises the FILIPINO BRAND OF SERVICE EXCELLENCE (FBSE) training for the year 2024.
Local tourism stakeholders in the Municipality of Miagao attended the said training by DOT VI’s very own FBSE Master Trainer, Dr. Maria Amihan “Mae” Tamayo Panes, along with Ms. Vina V. Brana, Tourism Operations Assistant.
Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) is a flagship training program of the DOT envisioned to provide all frontline workers in the tourism and hospitality industry with a benchmark on how to render excellent service to our tourists the Filipino way and make it our “brand”.
