1,015 biz permits renewed in Miagao

MIAGAO, Iloilo — A total of 1,015 business permits were renewed for the 2019 Tax Mapping Activity inspection of the different business establishments in the municipality of Miagao.
Mr. Stephen Intal, head of the Licensing Unit of the Municipal Local Government Unit of Miagao said that the inspection, which includes all sector of businesses, both in private and public market, is conducted every year.
“The initiative aims to increase the revenue collection as well as to inspect compliance of business establishments to register to the municipality,” he said.
The Licensing Unit, together with the Provincial Bantay Dagat is also conducting “Operation Kulob” of the motorized boats and other fishing gears in the 22 coastal barangays in the municipality.
This is important to ensure that all motorboats are properly documented and have the necessary permits to operate. (RH/Information Office)
