Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr gladly welcomes Dir. Maria Rhodora Gascon of the Bureau of Local Government Finance, Department of Finance Region VI as she paid courtesy visit earlier today.
Mayor Garin discusses with Dir. Gascon some measures that will help increase the local government’s income from local sources. With all the measures presented such as, RPT collection and auction, business permits, and collection of regulatory fees, auction of real properties is the least considered.
“I am not in favor of the auction on real properties. Given the pandemic, indi ta guid dapat pag gulpihon ang mga pumuluyo. Inform to anay sanda kang anda balayran. We have to exhaust all efforts to collect first,” said Mayor Garin.
