MIAGAO, Iloilo – Mayor Macario N. Napulan, MD challenges to all municipal officials and employees to take active effort and contribute for the sake of our environment.
“Grow a tree and be healthy,” said Mayor Napulan in his speech on time for the “Philippine Environment Month” theme of the regular Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and Convocation Program.
Also, “Grow a tree and be healthy” will be the tagline of one of his environmental programs that will be launched anytime soon. The Program has yet to be finalized but sharing a little note about it, he said that the Program will engage all households to plant ten (10) fruit bearing trees.
Meantime, Mayor Napulan enjoined everyone to participate in the Tree Growing Activity on June 26, 2019 in Barangay Tigmalapad, this Municipality. (ABMande)
