“Reduce your greed.”
This was the statement of Mayor Richard Garin as he encouraged all department heads to work for the best interest of the government, of Miagao.
“Sometimes naga oppose ako sa statement na ‘bayan muna bago sarili’. Paano mo masatisfy ang iban nga tawo kon indi ko ma satisfy self mo. Pero ginsuli ko ‘sarili muna bago bayan’ but reduce your greed,” he said.
Mayor Garin joined the employees in the two-day Gender and Development Training at ISAT U Hostel on March 16-17, 2023.
“Human as we are may kadaluk kita gusto ta aton tanan. Pero dapat masacrifice kita para sa kaaraydan kang aton banwa,” he added.
