With the aim to improve the living condition of eligible indigent senior citizens aged 77 and above , the Local Government in coordination with the DSWD give them P1500.00 monthly.
The Social Pension is designed in order that the poorest senior citizens are covered and protected from loss of income and unemployment as a result of illness, injury, disability and harvest failure among others.
The beneficiaries were carefully picked according to the conditions and eligibility set forth by the DSWD to include age and economic status.
