GARIN DAUGHTER LEADS ORIENTATION OF DOLE TUPAD BENEFICIARIES

Rica Jane Garin, daughter of Congresswoman Janette L. Garin and Mayor Richard Garin, spent the time with the beneficiaries of the DOLE TUPAD Program during their orientation at the Regional Evacuation Center, October 31, 2023.
Totaling to 208, the beneficiaries are from the farmers and LGBTQ groups who will receive a compensation of P450.00/day.
The DOLE TUPAD program will provide occupation to these identified Miagaowanons for 10-days on October 31 to November 9, 2023. It was funded by AAMBIS Partylist and the Office of Congresswoman Jannette Garin.

TYPHOON PAENG AFFECTED FARMERS GET ASSISTANCE

Some 18 Miagaowanon farmers received their goat livelihood assistance in a distribution at the DA Food Terminal on September 27, 2023.
Municipal Agriculturist Ms. Ma Frea Monsale said that the assistance hopes to provide immediate relief from the effects of the calamity in the livelihood of these beneficiaries.

‘PACKAGE RECEIVED’

The families who have been victims of the recent fire rage in Barangay Sag-on received the package from the DSWD FO VI.
The package that contain two boxes food packs, two canister sleeping kits, one canister hygiene kits, one canister cooking utensils, and 10 meters, were personally delivered by the staff from the MSWDO and MDRRMO.

This was the statement of Mayor Richard Garin as he represented Garin Family in the distribution of 3kg rice, long sleeve shirt and 3 liters gasoline to all tricycle drivers in Miagao on Oca Garin Day on January 22nd.
“I reciprocate naton ria based also on the guiding principle of Oca Garin that do not only repay kindness, pass it on. Indi kita mag-untat sa pasalamat and at the same time mangita man kita kang tawo nga buligan ta man,” Mayor Garin said.

250 BEDRIDDEN MIAGAOWANONS RECEIVE FOOD PACKS ON OCA GARIN DAY

Living by his guiding principle “Do not only repay kindness, pass it on”, some 250 bedridden Miagaowanons received food packs on Oca Garin Day (Kindness Day) on January 22, 223.
Braving the heat of the sun and long walks, the LGU staff personally delivered the food packs that contain groceries, biscuits and half sack of rice to the houses of the recipients.
“We are remembering someone sa hinimuan na. Nadura si Oca Garin pero gina sige ta ang pagbulig sa mga bedridden kay amo guid dya ang naandan na nga himuon sang buhi pa,” Mayor Richard Garin said.

In between round of inspection, Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin Jr. stopped to a short meet and greet with his constituents leaving it smiles in their faces.
