“Ang matuod tuod nga pasalamat amo ang sinsero nga serbisyo sa mga pumuluyo pagkatapos election.”
This was the highlight of the message of Mayor Richard Garin during his visit to Barangay Cawayanan earlier today.
Today, the Responsableng Gobyerno team visited Barangays Dalije and Cawayanan and brought with them the assistance amounting to P70,000.00/barangay.
Four barangays received their P70,000.00 from no less than Mayor Richard Garin on March 4, 2023.
According to Mayor Garin, this is a way of “pagbalik kag pagsalamat” to the Miagaowanons for their trust and confidence, which resulted in his becoming the Mayor of the town after the May 9, 2022, elections.
“Nagbalik guid ako para magpasalamat kay ang pulitiko nga indi kamaan magpasalamat wara guid ti direction ang ana pamulitika,” Mayor Garin said.
On top of this, Mayor Garin said he took time to personally visit the barangays to as well check on the needs of the community.
“Raku pa kita plano para sa banwa. Nami guid nga makita ko ang sitwasyon ka barangay. Makita ko kun ano pa ang kinahanglan man kang mga pumuluyo,” he said.
Miagao, Iloilo – Mayor Richard Garin has been fulfilling his promise of going back to the barangays as an ‘expression of gratitude’ for the trust and confidence of the Miagaowanons.
“Gusto ko guid magpasalamat sa inyo kooperasyon kag padayun nga pagsarig sa amon grupo. Si Richard doon tulad tungod kaninyo, tungod sa inyo pagsarig kag suporta,” Mayor Garin said.
On top of this, Mayor Garin also expressed the message of unity for the Miagaowanons.
“Tapos ron ang election. Dapat sa tulad maghugpong kita para sa banwa ta. May mga bagay nga kun kaisa indi man kita mag intiendihanay, pero para sa banwa ta, dapat buylugan ta,” he said.
Mayor Garin with VM Macario Napulan, SB Cezar Florece, SB Aaron Noble, and SB Mazert Torrecampo visited barangays Pudpud, Bariri, Tambong, and Aguiauan to release the check amounting to P70,000.00. It will be used by the barangays to finance projects that will be beneficial to the people.
It will be an easier trip for the residents of Bugtong Lumangan, Diday, and Tambong in the coming days.
This was after the Department of Public Works and Highways and Asia Structural Developer Corp conducted the pre-construction conference with the residents of Barangays Lumangan and Diday at Barangay Lumangan Hall on February 17, 2023.
The project covers the construction of the 5 meters x 960 meters concrete road with one meter shoulder, grouted rip rap, and stone-masonry.
Another P25 million road project will commence in March 2023.
This is for the construction of Oyungan – Igcabidio – Ilog-ilog – Narorogan and portion of Igsoligue Road.
“Amat-amaton ta lang. Ang iban nga pulitiko kun diin ang raku botante rigtu ginabutang ang proyekto, but because palangga ko kamo, kag kinahanglanon ninyo dya, ginpatigayon ta guid dya,” said Mayor Richard Garin during the pre-construction conference of the project at Barangay Igcabidio on February 15, 2023.
The project covers the construction of the 5meter X 1,760 meters concrete road, separated in sections with concrete lined canal.
For their part, the residents thanked Mayor Garin for this beneficial project.
“Bahul guid dya namon nga kabaraslan kay Congresswoman Janette Garin kag Mayor Richard Garin. Nagapasalamat guid kami sa inyo bulig para matigayon ang dya nga concreting,” Punog Barangay (Ilog-Ilog) Pedro Fiolates said.
The P75-million Bacolod- Dalije Road will commence its construction in March 2023.
This, after Mayor Richard Garin led the conduct of the pre-construction conference for the said project at Barangay Dalije, Miagao on February 15, 2023.
The project, initiated by Congresswoman Janette L. Garin, covers the construction of 6.10 meters X 2,285 meters of concrete road with concrete lined canal, concrete slope protection, box culverts and vegetation in Barangay Bacolod to Barangay Dalije
“Wara ako nag-agtu ridya para mamulitika kundi ang magserbisyo kaninyo. Ang matuod nga serbisyo publiko is kun diin ikaw kinahanglan ka tawo be there,” Mayor Garin said.
For her part, Punong Barangay Angelica Faduhilao could not contain her happiness on behalf of the people of Dalije.
“Amo ron dya ang ginapangayu ta. Amo ron dya ang mejora kang pag supporta ta sa mga Garin,” PB Faduhilao said.
