Some 40 piece of these eco bags produced by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office will be placed on display at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol starting Monday, July 18, 2022.
Mr. Isidro Mosura, OIC MENRO, said that the Provincial Governnment through the Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office (PGENRO) will sell these eco-friendly bags made of “upcycled” election campaign materials.
Upcycling of election campaign materials aims to minimize election plastic wastes.

In response to the instruction of Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr to observe basic cleanliness of the market, Ms.T. Arlene Nufuar of the GSO put up more effort into orderliness and cleanliness keeping it more presentable to both business owners and market-goers.
Photos show some jobbings inside the market to include:
-flushing of the Fish and Meat Section
– repair of the old CR for the Fish and Meat Section
– clearing of the vacant market space (corner Nonato- Octaviano Streets)
It may be noted that Mayor Garin visited the Market Saturday morning to see the actual situation in the area.
Keep it up GSO!
